Are your alarms FM alarms FCC approved?
Yes, all of our FM alarms are FCC approved.

Why am I unable to operate the remote start system?
As a safety feature, all doors must be closed and the alarm system must be armed in order to operate the remote start system. To operate the remote start, push the * key for 1/2 second and then the unlock key for 1/2 second.

What is your remote distance on the FM alarms?
The distance on solid ground is 3000ft. If you have walls in between your vehicle and the remote, the distance will be shortened.

How long will a AAA battery work in my alarm remote?
Our alarm remotes have a very low draw, which allows for extra long battery life. Typical battery length on our remotes is 6 months. This includes the 2-way LCD model.

How can I get the engine cut-off to operate?
Be sure to verify if the yellow wire in the 8-pin harness is connected to the ignition "On" position in the key cylinder to make the engine cut-off operate. The ignition kill only outputs when alarm is triggered by heavy impact, door opened, hood opened, trunk opened, microwave and /or ignition is on.

How can I get the rear end black thin wire switch to operate?
You must use a bonnet switch connecting to the black wire or grey wire to detect the hood or trunk status.

How do I make the shock sensor more sensitive?
You may adjust the sensitivity of shock sensor through the three-phase switch at left side of the communication unit. Please be sure to mount the communication unit firmly in the front windshield.

Why can't I program the features of the alarm?
You must turn the ignition to the "OFF" position before you can program the features.

Do your alarms work with Diesel vehicles?
Yes, our alarms should work on your diesel and usually do not need anything else to make the remote start work. At most, a bypass module may be necessary. Be sure to set the features #11 to the diesel type and connect the wait- to-start signal to the alarm system when installing.

Are your mufflers 100% stainless steel?
Yes, all of our mufflers are 100% stainless steel.

What type of sound can I expect from your mufflers?
Our mufflers have a beautiful, deep sound. These do not sound like some of the high pitched, cheap import pieces that are common on the market.
